Port Vincent Village Market embarked on an ambitious project: a full store remodel of its original, operational location. The core challenge was intricate: how do you build a completely new store around an existing one, carefully integrating elements of the current space into the new design?

The goal was not just to modernize or upgrade the space; it was to preserve the inherent character and cultural significance of the location. This project demanded a seamless transition that honored both the store’s legacy and its deep roots in the local community.

Our Approach: Collaborative Vision, Detailed Execution

To ensure the new décor was both functional and faithful to the client’s vision, our team followed a rigorous, client-centric process:

  1. Vision Alignment: We began with an in-depth meeting with the client to fully understand their goals, desired aesthetic, and design preferences.
  2. Detailed Discovery: Our team then conducted detailed measurements and comprehensive photographs of the entire existing space to ensure accuracy in planning.
  3. Concept Development: Based on our findings, we developed and presented two distinct retail design concepts for the client to review, ensuring they had options that spoke to their modernization goals while maintaining local appeal.
